Q1: What are the Lab hours?

Q3: How can I tell if a Lab has the software I need for my class?

  1. Press on (Start), go to All Programs, and then up to Course Work. This will display a list of all the software installed on the machine.

Q4: Do you have color printing?

  1. Yes, the Annex Link, located in Simpson Tower Annex, Room  E-191, has a color laser printer available to students.

Q5: Do you have scanners?

  1. Yes, all OALs have scanners available.  Please note that there is a 30 minutes utilization policy if other students are waiting to use this equipment.

Q6: Can I install a program on the Hard Disk?

  1. No, the software installed on the hard disk by ITS are requested by faculty members. Any software not requested by faculty members or not requested in due time by faculty members, will not be supported by ITS.

Q7: Can I use the Lab as a group?

  1. Yes, to facilitate group work, the Salazar Hall Link has four cubical dedicated to groups. There you will find a bigger monitor so that all can see what is happening on the screen.

Q8: How do I get an NIS account?

  1. Please go to ITS Help Desk, located in Library Palmer wing (LIB PW) Lobby. Chances are that your account is already there waiting for you. If it is not ready, the staff there will be able to guide you through the process.
