Stolen Descartes Letter Found
One of 72 letters by Philosopher René Descartes, stolen from the Institut de France in the mid-1800s by an Italian mathematician, has been discovered at Haverford College. The subject of the May 27, 1641 letter is the publication of "Meditations on First Philosophy."
