Moodle in a Day

Attend a Moodle workshop and build your Moodle
course in a day. Learn how to archive your Blackboard course content such
as files, links, and grades, and download these onto your desktop. Then
design a basic Moodle course: upload files, learn Moodle messaging, create
quizzes and manage the gradebook. This half-day workshop runs from 9 am to 1

Moodle Advanced: Group Projects 1

This workshop is for advanced users and will be
1st of two sessions. This workshop will
cover the benefits of assigning group projects and strategies on how to create
and manage groups online. Participants
will learn three methods of creating groups by: (1) Manually creating topics,
and students self-select the topic they wish to work on, (2) Manually creating
groups, and instructor assigns specific students to a group, and (3)
Automatically creating groups randomly.
This workshop will also have participants create asynchronous discussion
forums and synchronous chats to create spaces for sharing ideas and organizing
content

Workshop: Using clickers to teach
