Welcome to CETL Moodle Training

The Center for Effective Teaching and Learning has provided a number of Moodle training opportunities for the CSULA faculty community.  We invite you to explore the various training options provided.  If you don't see what you're looking for, please feel free to call at (323) 343-6594 or email at CETL@calstatela.edu.

Moodle Learning Community

All CSULA faculty have access to the Moodle Learning Community site once they request a Moodle course shell.  You may access this site by logging on to MyCSULA portal and selecting the Moodle icon.  The site provides step-by-step instructions to many of Moodle’s features, such as setting up a profile, creating a quiz, and managing the gradebook, etc.  Members may post questions to the Moodle community.  This is an excellent starting point to gain support from the CSULA faculty community and receive answers to common questions.

Moodle Workshops

During the 2011-2012 academic year, a series of Moodle workshops will be scheduled.  The following calendar has been updated to reflect the winter break program.  We are excited to announce that we have added Moodle-in-a-day workshops where throughout winter break so that faculty can completely rebuild their Moodle course in just one day. Beginning winter 2012, additional Moodle workshops will be provided, including workshops for the advanced users, such as Moodle Advanced: Group Projects, and Moodle Advanced: Gradebook.
