Your Voice Counts! – It’s Time for Student Course Evaluations
Dear Cal State LA Student,
Starting November 20, you will have the opportunity to provide important input about your instructors and courses by completing your Student Course Evaluations. This will take you just a few moments.
You can complete your course evaluations using the GETmobile app (iPhone CLICK HERE or Android CLICK HERE) or online through the student portal (https://my.calstatela.edu). In both cases, you will find Student Course Evaluations in the main menu.
Remember:
- Your responses are completely anonymous.
- Your Voice Counts! Your course evaluation helps to enhance instruction at Cal State LA, because faculty will use your feedback to improve courses.
- Student survey results are also used to evaluate faculty, influencing decisions about retention, promotions and tenure.
- Your instructor doesn’t have access to your responses until after grades have been submitted, and your name is not associated with your responses.
The survey will be open through the last day of classes (Monday, December 4, at 11:59 p.m.) Please be aware that you won’t have the opportunity to complete your course evaluations after the date above or during finals week.
