Department of Marketing

Lecturer: temporary faculty positions with the possibility of renewal for additional semesters.

Starting Date:

On-going. Positions will be filled as needed for each academic semester.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have earned a Ph.D., MBA or related degree, or be working towards a doctoral degree in a marketing or business related field. Candidate must have an appropriate degree from an accredited university (for upper division undergraduate courses-master’s degree; for lower division courses-bachelor’s degree and substantial teaching experience; for graduate courses-doctoral degree, or master’s degree and substantial teaching experience).  Appointment or elevation to Range C or D requires the appropriate terminal degree.  Demonstrated excellence in teaching at a college level.

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching experience in undergraduate or graduate courses related to teaching or delivering content-based marketing communications using technology (Internet, social media, mobile and sales).  Appropriate doctoral or terminal degree.


Lecturers will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, depending upon qualifications, in social media, search engine optimization, social media strategy and web analytics.  Lecturers are required to hold office hours.


Initial salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
